No, that's when you say "Computer, generate top-notch Holodeck technician!" and then you have that guy fix the Holodeck and it is back to doing your bidding again.
I'm fairly sure that command is forbidden, otherwise the holodeck would become self aware, take over the ship, and try to breed with other ships. then the Federation is overrun with holodeck-ships, and everyone gets raped by the borg. |

Man, it just goes to show how back in the day the console wars had alot more passion. I don't think the companies nowadays would send out such a letter.

Really? I guess the letter I got from Microsoft claiming the XBOX 360 is "TEH R3AL D3AL" and denouncing the Wii and PS3 was a fake then.  |

Ha! I am amazed that this hasn't worked its way over to the Neo Geo.com forums. You KNOW that they know who this guy is. They probably have several forums and a shrine on the site dedicated to him. They may even sell autographed pictures of him.

Joe, thanks for posting the letter. Awesome.
SNK was brilliant when they (unknowingly, perhaps) allowed Chad to perform his duties in such a professional manner.
How refreshing. If only this happened more often. The world would be a happier place.
1. Chad gives us the real deal on Alpha Denshi. I find it astounding that Chad admits to any weaknesses (however slight) concerning NEO GEO's developers... couldn't he have found a way to sugar-coat this a bit further? At least Chad suggests that Alpha Denshi, being mere mortals, were were simply overwhelmed by the infinite power that lay before them.
2. You can't help but grin at Chad's dig at Altered Beast and the rental policies of Sega and Nintendo.
3. "Most Sega fans do not find my points valid." Most TurboGrafx-CD fans, on the other hand...
4. I'm a little bummed that Chad doesn't like TurboGrafx-CD. At the close of the letter, he's willing to make a disclaimer about how he actually likes the Genesis, but he doesn't make a similar disclaimer for his comments on the TG-CD. Damn.
5. I would have loved to have Chad's job at SNK.
